Updating and Clarifying

If you haven’t been to this website in a while, you will see that I have made some changes.

Also, my logo has had a refresh! While the old logo was colorful, this new look is cleaner and my intention is to have the colors in the new logo evolve as needed!

Lockdown in 2020 inspired a little self-reflection for many of us and I had some time to reflect on the state of Colorfuel. I took the opportunity to work on an update to the website which led to a much bigger desire to home in on the message or story of the brand of Colorfuel. The website and logo were the outward visuals but I think the bigger need was to rein in what I will call, for lack of a better phrase, the creative scatter. It is so easy to get off-point and chase the shiny objects in my color work.

I’m a solo business owner and while that has many perks, accountability-to-no-one is one of the hazards. Step one in regrouping was joining Brand Design Masters Guild which is a 12-week course, led by Philip VanDusen, where I met like-minded individuals and we shared our issues, set goals for ourselves, learned from and held each other accountable. Now the ball is in my court as I move forward with the next steps.

I hope you enjoy the new website and find it easier to navigate. While this blog is more the play area for the creative scatter (I can’t totally lose it) the other pages convey the capabilities of Colorfuel.

My mission is the same but strengthened! To harness color’s power through color forecasting, sharing and applying my knowledge of color, and guiding my clients to connect with their customers through color.

Did you know that most shoppers say their primary reason for buying a product is its color?

We are here to make sure you have the right colors!

Color feeds the soul, once understood it becomes your most powerful fuel.
